Scientific American Mind have a guest blog post from Joshua Hartshorne about citizen science. That is, science where researcher recruit 'enthusiastic amateurs' online as research collaborators. He points out that cognitive scientists have been doing this a long time and covers a range of recent projects including ours. Which probably has the most enthusiastic collaborators of all (and, most definitely, the youngest!)
